Consider: What do I have to do to be saved? It is a great question! Although answers may appear similar, they can still be light years apart. One thing is for sure, only God can answer truthfully and completely. And, he has… Through the work of Jesus Christ, we are FREE from the law of sin and death. There are no works of ours to boast of. No religious practices that aid salvation. No system to which we must belong. All that ever needed to be done for salvation was done on the cross by God’s Only Beloved Son, Jesus. To live in freedom (and not religious bondage), we must only accept Him. This is the gospel of freedom!
Be Free: No Other Gospel
Not realizing it (or maybe they did) by adding anything to the gospel of Jesus Christ as God prescribed, some have created a new gospel. If the source is anything other than the inspired word of God through the Holy Spirit, then it is false. God’s words are true. Every other gospel is a lie.
Be Free: Freedom Fighters
Why do people have to make it so hard to be saved? Rituals, rules and regulations are prominent in every religion. And churches are not immune. Thankfully, Christianity is not a religion…it is a faith. God clearly says in Ephesians 2 that is by grace we have been saved through faith in Jesus Christ. That is it! But since some want to make salvation complicated, then there must be others who will push back on the nonsense. Ones that will proclaim liberty (not bondage) through Jesus Christ as God intended. Fighting for freedom, they become freedom fighters!
